Hello! This is how Little Chaotics: Boom Quest began
This is the first post on the madebykengo blog, and what better way to start than by introducing the game I’m working on: Little Chaotics: Boom Quest.

The Little Chaotics
Rin and Hana are real: they’re my chihuahuas. In the game, Rin is a small but very brave explorer, and Hana is his partner, who shows up when you least expect her. The real Hana is quite the scaredy-pup and loves hiding under the blanket with only her little head peeking out. So if you see her hiding in the game, now you know where it comes from.
What’s it about?
It’s a puzzle game: you place bombs on the board, merge them to make them more powerful and, once you’ve thought it all through, you press DETONATE. The explosions chain together, open chests, smash rocks and, if you get it wrong, also break the crystals you were supposed to protect.
It’s not about aim or reflexes, but about thinking before you detonate.
What the first saga brings
- 100 levels across 5 worlds: the Blast Meadow, the Ancient Mines, the Crystal Temple, the Volcano and the Golden Fortress.
- New mechanics in every world: drills, mirrors, magma, geysers, portals and lever doors.
- A family of very sneaky orange cats as villains, starting with Sir Tangerine.
- An editor to create your own levels and share them with your friends.
When is it coming out?
Very soon for iPhone and Android, on the App Store and Google Play. On this blog I’ll be sharing news, upcoming updates and how the game is made behind the scenes.
